Kiryu Aikido Summer 2024 Training and Testing

Jun 21-23, 2024 | Kiryu Aikido Colorado

It’s already June 2024, and the year is moving as swiftly as a fast-moving stream. At Kiryu Aikido, part of our training focus includes having our instructors gather in Colorado a few times a year to share new insights, conduct additional training workshops, and host our bi-annual testing.

Testing is a demonstration of our students’ progress and their continued push to refine and polish their martial spirit. I look forward to seeing the hard work and progress made—it’s always an exciting time.

Here is our rough schedule for the upcoming weekend. For our Saturday workshop and Sunday training, we warmly welcome our Aikido community to join us for practice as well.

"The purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit." "稽古の目的は、たるみを引き締め、身体を鍛え、精神を磨くことです。" — Morihei Ueshiba
